Hope Education Program Again Receives "Exemplary" Ranking from State

The teacher education program at Hope College has again received an "Exemplary" ranking from the Michigan Department of Education.  Hope is one of six institutions tied for second place in the "2011-2012" Education Preparation Institution Performance Score Report," receiving an overall score of 68 out of a possible 70.

The Education Department has consistently ranked as one of the State's top programs, receiving an "Exemplary" rating in the annual listing since the report's inception in 2005.  The Education Department was among two colleges and universities receiving a first-place ranking last year, and was also among those ranking second in 2011, 2010 and 2009.
